The creator
FATIMA KANE, a young Senegalese creator, was born in Dakar to a Mauritanian mother and a Senegalese father. After completing her school education in her hometown, she continued her higher studies in the fashion and art capital: PARIS.
With a Master’s degree in Financial Expertise in hand, she sought to materialize her passion for fashion by taking courses in fashion design and styling in the City of Light. Fatima draws inspiration from the colorful and bold style of her native Africa and the chic refinement of Paris.
A true fashionista, Fatima, even in her younger years, stood out for her creative and unique style. This uniqueness led her to create a mini collection of wax jackets during her student life.
In 2021, Fatima decided to dedicate herself to her passion and created the brand TACIMA. Juggling between her life in Paris and her stays in her native Dakar, she navigates both the financial world and the world of fashion, representing, as much as her brand TACIMA, the ambitious and independent woman.
Through this platform, Fatima shares her elegant style and her vision of the perfect wardrobe.
The house
TACIMA is the name that was attributed to her from her earliest childhood. It is in 2021, in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, that the TACIMA brand begins its story.
Originally, TACIMA was limited to made-to-measure tailored designs for women. Today, TACIMA has evolved into a fashion brand for both men and women, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of custom-made and ready-to-wear clothing on an international scale. TACIMA embodies Strength, Ambition, Independence, Charisma, Authenticity, and Elegance.
The ready-to-wear TACIMA: is strong and sophisticated, instilling confidence.
The tailor-made TACIMA: Aspires to be refined and authentic. Composed of unique pieces, it offers a variety of signature elements: haute couture rhinestones, corsets, patterned and beaded embroideries, artisanal ribbons, and cashmere linings.
TACIMA draws inspiration from films of the 70s and 80s, structured cuts, silhouette harmonization, art exhibitions, travels, and neo-bourgeois fashion.
